Common Cold...

Common Cold Regular Problems and its Home Remedy...

I am a mother of Three Kids, blessed with it... my kids have been administered with regular antibiotics for the treatment of common cold and any other illness...

Few months back, I had a chat with my friend and discussed about the regular intake of antibiotics. I had also read articles on how antibiotics can harm liver and kidney in the long run... after reviewing the pros and cons of antibiotics I decided to stop taking too many antibiotics..

As of my life experience I have observed that Common cold is a very regular illness same as the name suggests... and mostly moms keep themselves busy treating this common illness which passes from one person to another infecting almost the whole family and returns back to where it started from all over again. So, the cycle keeps going on...

And if, it’s a large family of many number of children, it’s a 24/7, 365 days process round the clock... hard to imagine as to the tasks done by mothers to keep the family healthy enough to fight against a simple cold and cough...

Anyways, the struggle was on for me too...

Finally, I got to know of this home remedy from my close friend... at first I was reluctant to try anything new for kids...  did a lot of online research... studied the benefits of the plants leaves that will be used in this process... whether they are safe for my 3yr old too, was a question...

After a prolonged study and research.... and once I got totally convinced that the remedy is not harmful as well as gives other benefits too... I decided to make this at home and started feeding my kids this solution...

It’s not a miracle, but, it did help my kids, my mom and myself to get a hold and control on cold and cough in a much better way than before....

I would like to share the symptoms and the remedy as per the treatment of these symptoms...

Symptoms:
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. Pneumonia and asthma like symptoms. In Most cases people develop a fever if the throat infection is severe. So if the throat is treated then fever will subside automatically.

Home Remedy:
Ingredients needed:
1 Medium sized Green Ajwain leaf.
2 Medium sized Green Tulsi Leaves.
1 Medium sized Garlic Clove (aka Lahson)..
Half a beetle leaf (aka Paan in India).
A pinch of Pepper and Salt.

Method of preparation:
Firstly, Heat all ingredients on a frying pan until the ajwain leaf becomes soft...

After the ajwain leaf feels soft.. remove all the leaves along with the garlic clove, put them in a bowl adding the pepper and salt then grind it manually with a help of a deep spoon.

The leaves will leave out a spoon amount of dark green coloured water.

Feed the spoonful liquid to the person or the kid whoever is  suffering from cold and cough.

Best Timing:

Early Morningbefore breakfast.

At Bedtime.
